Hi girls,

today I'm back with a photoshoot realized in my hometown, Bergamo. Coming back after almost four years abroad gave me a weird feeling. The city is always the same: fair, ancient, a bit nostalgic with those massive walls around, but my eyes and feelings are so different from the past....Come back memories of dinners and walks with high school friends, long conversations about gossip and hopes for the future...that future I imagined so different at University and that's still a big question mark. When I was younger I used to dream of being a journalist and travelling the world with a pen and my notebook, then at University and especially after doing  Erasmus in Spain, my life had a turning point. Sometimes I wonder how I'd be if I never left, if I stopped my curiosity and desire to discover the world...I might have a more ordinary life, I'd be married or maybe have a child...who knows...Anyway memories I have are so precious I wouldn't trade for anything... I've learnt to accept myself, to understand that everyone has their own story and mine's yet to be written. Probably in ten years I'll still be a lost soul, a bit rebel, with my suitcase always ready and a gipsy heart.

Ciao ragazze,

oggi vi presento un post realizzato nella mia città d'origine, Bergamo. Mi ha fatto una strana sensazione tornarci, dopo quasi quattro anni passati all'estero. La città è sempre la stessa: bella, antica e un po' nostalgica con quelle mura imponenti che la circondano, ma gli occhi con cui la osservo e le sensazioni che provo sono assai diversi da un tempo. Riaffiorano i ricordi delle cene e passeggiate con i compagni del liceo, le lunghe conversazioni fatte di gossip e speranze sul futuro...quel futuro che m'immaginavo differente ai tempi dell'Università e che tuttora resta un grosso punto interrogativo. Quand'ero sui banchi di scuola sognavo di diventare una giornalista e girare il mondo con un block notes e una penna in mano, poi con l'Università e soprattutto con l'Erasmus la mia vita ha avuto una svolta radicale. A volte penso a come sarei ora se non fossi mai partita, se avessi dato un freno alla mia curiosità e voglia di scoprire il mondo...forse avrei una vita più "normale", magari adesso sarei già sposata e con dei figli...chi lo sa...di certo i ricordi che porto dentro sono così preziosi che non li cambierei per nulla al mondo. Ho imparato ad accettarmi, a capire che ogni persona ha una sua storia e la mia è ancora tutta da scrivere. Probabilmente tra dieci anni sarò ancora un'anima inquieta e un po' ribelle, con la valigia sempre pronta e lo spirito da gitana.
