Chi vive nel cuore di chi resta non muore

Hi girls,

today I'm going to talk about my Anniversary, my special day: the 24th of August, the day was born my grandmother Francesca. We were very similar: anxious, perfectionist, jealous and passional...with the same quirks, for example closets ordered on the basis of clothes color. She left the day after I finished my Erasmus and I came back home and it wasn't an accident...She wanted to say goodbye one more time before seeing again her husband, a man she loved beyond measure. Last Wednesday she'd have been 90...she went away smiling, falling asleep...At the beginning was hard to accept the  farewell...that no-return without remedies or second chances....but over time I started to live with her absence, that  material for the empty house and that affective, and I met her twice in my dreams...I don't know if  the Paradise exists or what it'd be but I believe if we loved somebody there's not a final farewell after death, because her/his soul will stay in the house where once lived, watching over people she/he loved

oggi vi parlerò del mio Anniversario, della mia data speciale: il 24 agosto, giorno in cui è nata mia nonna Francesca. Eravamo molto simili: ansiose, perfezioniste, gelose e sentimentali...con le stesse manie, una fra tante l'ordine negli armadi. Se ne è andata il giorno dopo il mio ritorno dall'Erasmus e non è stato un caso....voleva aspettarmi per darmi l'ultimo saluto prima di rivedere suo marito, un uomo che amò in modo smisurato.... Mercoledì scorso avrebbe compiuto 90 anni.....Se ne è andata col sorriso, addormentandosi...All'inizio è stato insopportabile accettare l'addio....il per sempre...quel non ritorno che non ha rimedi nè seconde possibilità...ma col tempo ho iniziato a convivere con la sua assenza, quella materiale della casa vuota e quella affettiva, e l'ho rivista un paio di volte in sogno....Non so se esista un Paradiso o che sembianze abbia ma credo fermamente che quando si ha amato qualcuno non esista un addio definitivo dopo la morte, perchè il suo spirito resterà nella casa dove un tempo ha vissuto vegliando sulle persone a cui voleva bene.
