BLACK SHADES IN MADRID

Paseo de la Castellana, Madrid, Spain. February, 2015

"Fashion is art and you are the canvas"

Good afternoon and happy Tuesday,

hope you had a nice weekend!!! Here in Madrid we had cold and rainy days... jejeje Spain is not

always sunny and hot!

Today I'd like to introduce you a new post realized in "Paseo de la Castellana", the Madrid business

area, (all the companies headquarters are located there), taking advantage of the outdoor art museum.

Considering we are on winter I chose to wear dark clothes (in general I prefer colorful looks,

especially in pink, yellow or red) and I imagined an outfit that could be used for the office

(depending on the kind of your job and your resistance ability in wearing heels for long time ^_^).

I opted for the black, as dominant shade, 'cause is classy, elegant and could give you a sophisticated

aspect, enphasized by the hat (one of the must of this year and very versatile: could be perfect with a

casual look as well as with a chic one).

In contrast with these dark tones I picked a golden top, with a tail on the front and the back, although

I prefered to show the tail only on the back side ( if you wear it with leggings or pants could look

well with both the tails).

Regarding accessories I selected a chain bag in leopard print with a touch of red and a long necklace

with a dancer stylized, really cool and original, especially if you note her fur dress.

Hope you like it and have a nice week!!!

SUNDAY AT THE RAILWAY STATION

EstaciĆ²n de Atocha, Madrid, Spain. February, 2015.

" I'm sittin' in the railway station
got a ticket to my destination "

Good morning and happy Valentine's day,

hope you're celebrating this day with your boyfriend/girlfriend or with people you love

(yes, today is not only for engaged people: first of all we have to love ourselves and then our

family, pets and friends).

In this post, realized in the most famous railway station of Madrid, I wear an outfit urban

and modern, combining elements typically casual as the black skinny with others more chic

as this faux fur coat, soft and warm.

I chose these items 'cause are very trendy: in this fall-winter collection you need fur coats or

accessories, ripped jeans/trousers (totally ripped or just below the knee), cateyes/butterflies

sunglasses, big earrings (tribals, folks, florals, gothics...), print/bohemian sweaters and

wedge sneakers,mostly golden or silver.

Regarding shoes, my fashion obsession, I'd like to anticipate next trends: glitter and sparkly

sneakers, wedges, studded/lacquered heels and  point toe/snakeskin pattern flats.

Hope you like this post and have a nice Sunday!!!!

Kisses

Sophia

90s COMEBACK

Ribera de Curtidores, Madrid, Spain. February, 2015

                                     "Jeans represent democracy in fashion"

Good morning and happy Sunday,

after a busy period I'm back for sharing my passion for fashion with you.

This new post is in my mood 'cause represents my predilection for contrasts in the look as much as in

the location. The place I chose is popular here in Madrid  among antiques lovers and with its cold

tones perfectly emphasizes this outfit so gritty and colorful. Moreover I opted for a look a bit casual

a bit chic: the fur vest, glam and striking, is perfect with an elegant dress as well as with a pair of

jeans and an informal sweater, especially if you choose a pair of stiletto shoes. It's a combination of

different styles, but it works and is one of the basic fashion rules: to dare and experiment.

The center piece of this outfit are these appliquĆØ jeans that recall the 90s style, for its forms

and funny applications, mostly used as decorations for denim jackets or trousers and for the

accessories, as the clutch I wear. Therefore get ready to the 90s comeback: berry lips, choker

necklaces, accent braids, leather jackets, floral dresses, crop tops, large and colorful shirts.....

Pull out of the boxes all these things and you'll be trendy, stylish and up-to-date!

Hope you like it and have a nice weekend!

Kisses

Sophia
